Fabienne Michèle Melmi Against a Western military intervention in Syria, but also against the bloody regime of Assad as well as against a large part of the armed opposition dominated mainly by the various reactionary currents of political Islam, there are voices seeking an alternative, both politically and socially, in the neighborhoods, in the territories, in Aleppo, in the outskirts of Damascus as in Kurdistan i.e. in the capacity of the self-organization of the population – beyond the various memberships and identities - and with the will to transform the existing reality, to create a new dimension "from below", wherever it is possible.
