Facebook Family and Friends, the Honakers need some assistance. As you know, my daughter Savanna, has been offered a career opportunity in Manhattan, NY, in an upscale, trendy area known as Soho, and her start date is Oct. 6. She will not only be working there full time, but she will also be enrolled in their training academy to further her education and skills. The post graduate training is included in her pay package. We are very proud of her and supportive of her, but it is an emotional time in our home to see her spread her wings and leave home. Many of you will understand that totally. Here is where we need some assistance; She only has a temporary place to live, and we have been having a difficult time finding her a place close to Manhattan that is affordable. I wanted to ask everyone if they had any connections in the Manhattan / Soho area, or some place close. Savanna needs an apartment or a room for a while. She needs nothing elaborate, but it must be in a safe area, and close to the Subway system. If you have any connections in the area, would you please let them know what Savanna is looking for? We would be extremely grateful if you are able to make any suggestions or put us in contact with someone that may be able to help her with housing or a room to rent. I do realize that affordablilty and Manhattan, is not a really good combo, but I know that God turns the seemingly impossible, into the possible. I also know that oftentimes, it is not what you know but who you know . Any suggestions or contact information will be greatly appreciate.
