Facebook Friends and Family living in the Prattville, Alabama area ... Messiah Church in Prattville is looking for a praise team leader. Heres what theyre looking for: ♫ A committed follower of Jesus, with a servants heart as an artist and a drive toward building community. ♫ Knowledge of contemporary worship music and traditional hymns, as well as proficiency in piano and/or guitar, and the ability to work well with an all-volunteer group of vocalists and instrumentalists. Youll definitely need to teach new songs to the group, so the ability to sing while you play would be a handy skill. Also, once you get the hang of this church, it will be your responsibility to pick music, so youll need to be able to coordinate with the pastor. Knowledge of sound systems would be handy as well. The pay is relatively small, but the rewards are big. The Praise Team is a great group of people -- praise, worship and fun is the result, if not the goal.
