The experienced Argentina international has been in the north west for the past four seasons now, having signed for the big-spending Premier League outfit from city-rivals Manchester United in a five-year deal worth £47 million in July 2009. And in the intervening four-year period the striker has proved to be an outstanding finisher, netting 73 goals in just 138 matches in all competitions for City, including scoring an impressive 58 strikes in only 107 Premier League contests. However, with a contract at Eastlands that runs until only June 30 2014, the club are keen for Tevez to either put pen to paper on a new long-term deal, or to move to either Juventus or AC Milan instead when the summer transfer window reopens, although that decision will be taken in conjunction with the club’s new Chilean.
