Facebook musing for a Sunday eve. First of all, I truly appreciate everyones responsiveness to my posts. I want you to know that I really do know that I use this forum as a public journal. It is therapeutic for me. I admit I do enjoy hearing from others that they appreciate my honesty and courage. In a small way it makes me feel like it is win/win. Im doing something for myself and for a community here. I know that there is a very wide spectrum of people that are exposed to what I write; friends, colleagues, fans perhaps, employers, students and children even. When Im not writing here, Im writing in my private journal, making music, taking in life, or being otherwise engaged in something. I am liking that Im following through with keeping everything that I post up here without erasing things like I used to. I like seeing the ever interweaving of emotions, that change often and are like the wind. The only thing that Im truly invested in is being REAL with myself. Im not invested in being consistent, correct, intelligent or even inspirational. But for a long time now, Ive chosen to use this public forum as I have for better or worse. I am fortunate to have life, to have friends, to have loving family and to be able to behold life, make music and help. No matter how I shift, no matter whether I am building at one point or engaging in risky behavior at another; whether I have more or less money, more gigs, less gigs.... In as much as I can surmise; being REAL and being GRATEFUL none-the-less are a constant; and that truly is enough for me to go through the rest of this life regardless of how things unfold. Peace:)
