Facebook was kind enough to remind me that I havent posted for six days. Basic reason is that in the distinct absence of gigs and there associated photos, I havent actually had much to say over the last week. Im not usually one for posting for its own sake in lieu of having a point, and I dont intend to make a habit of it. However, as theyre being so insistent, I will say this: Ive had time to write a couple of new songs and they dont sound too bad. Ill have to be careful where I play them, because theyre hardly the high energy/feel good songs I try to play at most of my gigs these days, but next time I hit an open mic I might think about playing them. They need some rehearsal first though!
