Facebook you are so wrong! I lost my temper with this place yesterday and walked away to calm down. They make changes without consulting the clients, IE me and you, they feel we should be grateful as they supply a free social media site for us all to interact. Truth be told without us this place could never succeed, we are the cash cow that supplies the advertisement revenue. I have issues with the fact that not only does this place now allow videos to auto play in our streams but they also have no control on the content, they rely on the reporting system that we all know is completely inadequate. I know there are sick people in this world that seem to get their kicks out of depravity and brutality against their own kind and other creatures. I know these people exist and wish they did not. I know what they look at and do and if I was perverted enough I could go and find it but Im not and I sure as shit do not want to go see it. On that basis I sure as shit do not want to have this stuff thrust at me in my stream, without warning and without anyway of me not having control of what it is. More so I dont want my children, my wife, your children or your family exposed to this. We know what goes on in this world, we do not hide under rocks nor try and ignore it, we get it from most of our news programs but we at least have the option of deciding to watch or not. Yesterday one video came on in my stream, it was auto playing as I came across it, I was stunned and could not believe what I was seeing, I could not believe the level of humanities brutality and then to know someone had filmed this for the pleasure if viewing it later. The few seconds this video played keeps going around in my mind and I find it hard to shift, I wonder what it would have done to a child if they saw it, would they too be stuck with this image or would they grow believing this was acceptable? I was that angry yesterday I seriously thought it was time to leave this site, permanently. Facebook you seriously have to put your house in order.
