Ok. Time for another rant, Jeffy D. style. I did this ALS ice bucket challenge back when it first started. I was called out by my cousins wonderful, soon to be son-in-law, Jarred Knott. I read about the disease. Hell, I even watched a video, put up by Paul Hottinger, about where this began. It was in honor of an incredible would-be great baseball player by the name of Pete Frates. He was a college superstar on his way to the majors, when he was stricken with Lou Gehregs disease. The point behind this is primarily to raise awareness, along with making a small donation to research this God awful disease. The point is not simply to pour ice water on your head to get attention. Ive been on both sides of the coin on this one. While you dont know 100% where all the money goes, it does help a good bit. I just hope that with all the videos Ive seen, making fun of those of us who did this challenge, everyone realizes that regardless of how you feel about it, you ARE now at least aware of it... And by the way, the three of us in this video, we did it TWICE. The f#@king video wouldnt play the first time. Hence the already wet heads & driveway...
