Facebooks LIKE Farming Next time when you see these extremely emotional posts, stuff like This is the Prophet Mohamed Dress, or Press LIKE If You Love Mecca or whatever other blind emotion stirring post, be very skeptical. Why be very skeptical? Well, because someone is making decent money out of your emotions :) This is called Like Farming, and if someone manages to get their page with enough likes, Facebooks algorithm called EdgeRank would rank this page higher. To have high EdgeRank is very valuable, and you can rent out your page or even sell it to others if it has high rank. The buyer then tweaks the contents slightly and uses it to push ads and sell stuff or apps. If you read this, please hit LIKE on my post, hope you will have a Palace in Heaven ISA :)
