Faceless people online who don’t to attach their names to their opinions and use fake profiles to take a stab at other people. I remember 2012 where I responded to an unsigned, anonymous letter about me in the newspaper after which I was then called a cyberbully (although to this day, I refuse to read the full article as the title was enough to make me sick.) But how was I a cyberbully when all my (in hindsight) childish insults were aimed at someone without a name and I was grappling in the dark and didn’t even know who I was responding to? Would my opinion have changed if the person had attached their name? Perhaps. It’s Samoa and if I knew the person, I’d have done it differently, and maybe taken a moment to write with a clearer head. I still dont know who wrote it. And dont care. So when I see yet another faceless coward ranting on – it makes my resolve stronger to be kinder to the environment and NOT contribute further to air pollution. Kele fua le savili fa’ama’imau.
