Facing my despair... Our last entry into here spoke in rather dooming terms of the journey I was about to put my body through... While I wish I could say that I have beaten my addiction to sugar... That is simply not the case!!! While researching as much as I can... Though I dont understand a lot of what Im reading... I still know there is BAD sugar (processed) and GOOD sugar (natural) What Im learning is how this all ties in to my body and how to incorporate it into my everyday life. Some people are naturally gifted in the kitchen, trying new spices, trying new vegetables/fruits, adding this with that and creating SPECTACULAR... If I had to choose 1 meal for the rest of my life it would be bangers and mash... Not very adventurous thats for sure... However cutting back on all products with processed sugar Im finding my energy level has increased, my migraines have lessened and my thoughts are clearer. Could massive sugar consumption be causing my numbness towards society??? My depression medication used to keep me from feeling anything... However almost 12 months ago since I started my CHANGE OF LIFESTYLE it has not been working correctly at all!!! Oh boy has it been a roller coaster!!! So for years have I been walking around in a haze of cigarette smoke, medication, artificial sweeteners and processed crap??? For a fat person a trip to the supermarket is magical, hate filled, glorious time, where you are faced with what you SHOULD eat and what you WANT to eat!!! The battle between who will win, healthy or not begins before you even hit the shopping centre!!! Do I know any full proof plan to combat that... NO I DONT... NOT YET ANYWAY... But I DO have steps that HAVE helped me so far... 1- Go before a workout, after a work out or in your workout gear ( my mind is fooled into thinking HEALTHY because Im in business gear) 2- Go on a full stomach (if your empty you WILL make bad choice) 3- Smaller Trolley (if you can see whats in your trolley, you know what your doing) 4- Pre plan your meals (while I have faced this stage in every diet I have EVER done, its only just clicked how important this is) 5- BE KIND ON YOURSELF, you messed up... So what??? You had a half a piece of chocolate cake... And??? Are you going to let it destroy you??? NO!!! Move on, we all need to be a little kinder on our selves :) Do you have any tips on how to make your shopping easier??? Xxx
