Fact: When trick or treating with your kids it is advisable to wear a costume that includes a large drinking vessel. Last year, it was nice for coffee with a bit of stout. This year, I nonchalantly walked the neighborhood with a half liter of beer in hand. My lederhosen and stein even prompted one upstanding citizen to offer and deliver a beer to me at their front gate after my kids received their anti-trick payment. Im not suggesting you get hammered while walking yer kids around- but a beer or two sure makes it a bit more fun.
