*Factions Listed Below* So. Ive been thinking, If I re-install Darkest Hour and play the Fallout Doomsday Mod for it. Who would be interested in an AAR (After Action Report) of the advancements of the Shi Empire (Closest thing I could find to a communist china faction) throughout the wasteland. Or would you prefer a different faction? If so just comment which one youd like and Ill decide which one I like most. If none of them then ill just play Shi or if enough of your pick shi off the bat. I could also do one for Fallout New Vegas where I pick a faction and give reports on quests and other combat events. Below is an explanation of an AAR An AAR is like an In-character report of the successes of an empire or nation most commonly used on forums for games such as the Total War franchise or Any Paradox Interactive series. They can even be used for Fallout games. In short, its like if you were commanding a nation and lets say one of your armys took some causalities and it couldnt sustain its current position. Well then you would take a tactical stance towards the situation and react to it like a General or a leader would. In example, lets say I got 10 NCR guys right, and a Legion sniper picks off one of them and we all hit the dirt. As a Squad commander I would probably want to flank the sniper and give covering fire as my men take him out. Of course, in New Vegas this might prove to be clumsy shooting and people dying but you describe it tactically as if the AI did what you wanted. In a world domination esque game its much more free in what you can describe since you dont see any of the actual combat. This also apply s to diplomatic and economic situations. Kinda imitating propaganda if you lie and say this isnt a big deal but it is. Or you could show the true problem and cleverly explain how youll resolve it.
