Factory stock mini suv rules 2014 RULES 1 Only welding on vehicle is ring pinion gears “NO EXCEPTION” 2 Gas tanks in front of axle can remain in original position or be moved to rear seat position. If gas tank is behind rear axle must be moved to rear seat position .Gas tank must be securely mounted and have a cover. Battery can remain in original position or be moved to inside car. Battery must be securely mounted and have a cover Dot tires only no tires no tires bigger than 30x9.50 or 255-75-15 Doors maybe wired or chained only “no welding” Driver’s door may have a bar on the outside or be filled with concrete. No bars on inside of cars. No bars from side to side. If a bar is desired for seat, brace can go from floorboard to roof of car behind driver’s seat. Hood must have a hole of at least 12” x 12” in case of fire. Hood can be bolted or chained or wired in 2 places only. Can only go through sheet metal. Can remove hood if desired. Remove all glass with the exception of windshield, Windshield can be removed if desired. Remove air bags. Head lights and taillights must be removed. No body lifts or suspension lifts. Must be stock height and have free suspension. NO MODIFICATIONS Remove interior If a 4 wheel drive vehicle or all wheel drive must remove a drive shaft This is a stock class – must have original type engine for the vehicle – Chevy in Chevy, Ford in Ford and etc. If vehicle came with V6 must have V6 – no straight six unless it came factory ( Example – Jeep Cherokee)
