Faendal I dont want to brag, but I once took down a bear at three hundred yards. In a blizzard. Faendal is a Bosmer archer found in Riverwood. Interactions: He and Sven have a rivalry for the love of local woman, Camilla Valerius. He offers Archery lessons at the Adept level. He is also working for Gerdur and Hod in the mill. He can be often found doing work around the mill in Riverwood. Love Triangle: He is a potential follower after this quests completion if the Dragonborn sides with him by either showing Camilla Faendals fake letter, or by exposing Svens letter to her. Either gains the gratitude of Camilla as well as Faendal. After completing this quest, Faendal can be asked to follow the Dragonborn, and he will readily oblige. Aftermaths: After completing Love Triangle, he can follow you, meaning cheap trick. While hes following you, you can ask to train Archery. After purchasing some levels to your Archery, you can take your gold back, by asking to trade with him. This is a cheap tactic, that will raise your characters level to the next level, while doing so, you can train your Archery once more. This trick will help you raise your Archery about 10-15 levels for free. If you kill Camilla Valerius after giving her the fake letter, you might get a letter from Faendal, saying: I know you killed her. Dont worry, I wont tell anyone. In fact, I wanted to thank you. She will not be missed. This could indicate that Faendal doesnt really care for Camilla, because shes a Nord, and hes Breton.
