Failed funding application : now at a bit of a loss where to go next - sustainability is probably around 3 months. I had to call to get a decision that was made 4 weeks ago and no letter from them yet to say it failed. Disappointed is an understatement if they had let us know we could have been further down the road of trying someplace else. We did have a development day where I raised the question of what happens if it failed, what was the plan B? we need that feedback now. We have on average 2 new members per week with multi stranded issues , usually a refferall from Citizens advice or Falkirk council as well as word of mouth throughout the migrant community. An increase in opening hours is what we needed and to attract volunteers to cover them , but without a budget to cover training and expenses it is difficult to increase anything. I would just like to assure our existing members and commitee that all possible steps are being taken to find a funder and application completed. :(
