Failure of Opposition or The Story about Ukrainian Government which contrived to resort to various tricks in order to avoid dissolution. I wanted to start with the following things: I have good news and bad news...although, in actual fact, I have only bad ones. The first words had to ease tension that could appear after first few lines, and certainly, to give everyone kind of moral support... As some of you probably heard\read about the events which have taken place lately in Ukraine... As it turned out it was even more serious than I have ever expected. Like I said before, our Opposition took up wait-and-see position, using people as a resource to reach their goal. They said they planed to block up the work of government, but on the other hand, they wanted to try to visit Supreme Soviet session, and get the majority of votes from other deputies in the case of dissolution. They hoped they would get them taking consent as the power, to some extent. They wanted to win members from other parties over to their side, but their plans fell through. The day before most of deputies claimed they would exclude themselves from the parties, that later was considered as a trick against opposition. If they really acted that way then opposition would get enough votes to make a resolution. But...they didnt implement a decision that means that criminal gangs and permissiveness will increasingly thrive in our country. upd: Despite the fact that country and people are in danger (according to the latest information, more than 50 journalists got injured... more than 30 people were arrested just because of taking part in peaceful demonstration...and...lets remember about youth ones were violently beaten by riot police in the center of Kiev) and our President with a clear conscience went to China (what the hell he is doing there??) Its a pity, Chinese people are not cannibals, at least then we could have a tiny hope on his failure to return. Haha.
