Fair Tax is the only way the people will once again control the flow of money to congress. Fair Tax gets rid of the vicious government collection agency, the IRS, created and empowered by congress, flat tax does not. Congress will be directly affected by a weak economy under Fair Tax, because when people have less money, there will be less sales tax collected for them to steal from the public treasury, which is why most of congress is against the Fair Tax. Fair Tax is the better of the two, as long as the congressional thieves are not allowed to water it down, and the income tax is repealed. It will be a hard battle, but I am confident the American people will see the need for Fair Tax when all the information is presented truthfully.
