Fair play - for the last few days I think Labour have enjoyed some positive policy announcements. However, as ever, there is no consistency in their instincts, policies nor rhetoric. So, Ed says drive energy bills lower and decries the impact of taxes (most his!!) on the poor, but his spokesperson in the Lords tries to drive through higher energy costs for all. No wonder the public have scant regard for politicians (of all Parties, alas)
