Faith and Obedience Beware...... Many of my friends fear Science as if it were a thing like a Zombie or something. Science is not a Thing so much as a technique or methodology. It is a tool that can be used by ANY individual to arrive at answers. The process involves objectively looking at evidence that you can witness and reproduce. It involves a willingness to accept change. Supplication, prayer and meditation are great ways to clear your mind and slow your respiration, but they only allow you to arrive at answers from within. Rarely will those answers work or have any efficacy. Having Faith does not make something real. Being obedient to rules that have no basis in reality may make you pious, but it wont make something outside of your own mind any more factual. Unless you choose to act upon those feelings. Some of the most horrendous acts have been committed by pious folk doing what the voices in their minds tell them to do. Be skeptical, even about this or especially anything an authority tells you to accept Find ways to prove out those things that are important to you Test any hypothesis Once you have evidence, dont confuse the evidence as fact Most of the Facts of even 100 years ago are no longer very factual Accept change as a gift, do not rebel against it
