Faith came by the HUM house this am and asked if we could help her. She is a caregiver to a disabled man(Samuel age 57) who has not been able to move trash that was dumped in his yard. The city wants Samuel to move it to the alley(4 ft) so the city will pick it up! We will cut a deal: Ill get my friends who want jobs, Tre & Malik, and see if they will help us, you pay half and HUM will pay half! Faith agrees. By 4:30 pm, Tre and Malik did a beautiful job, Faith called and said Thank you from Samuel, the guys did a great job, and saved them $500.00 the city was going to charge them if they didnt move it in 48 hours. Samuel is in a wheelchair, I went and met him, a Veteran, and a stroke patient....Impossible without help.
