Faith is as essential to prayer as blood is to the life of the flesh! Without faith it is impossible to please God. Sarah had faith in Gods faithfulness and she received in her body a physical power to fulfill the promise of God and do the impossible. She considered God, the one who had given her the promise, to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His Word. Never forget that God and His Word are the same! God is what He says! Gods Word is just as powerful as the God that spoke it. Sarah considered God and judged Him to be worthy of confidence. In the midst of a hopeless and impossible situation, Sarah [herself] received a physical strength into her physical body and walked out a supernatural promise. She did not consider the hopelessness of her situation but she considered her God! To consider a matter is to think and judge the matter. Her thinking and pondering had gotten together with the God of the promise. Sarah, in her faith, committed that matter over to the faithfulness of the God of the promise. Her indispensable faith brought to her physical body a strength to conceive a child when in the natural it utterly was impossible!!! As with Sarah, things may look hopeless and impossible in this age and time, but in considering the matter, we find God and God alone to be more worthy of our confidence than the man made systems of this present world. I once again give you this word....PRAY!!
