Faith is the cause of victory Jesus is aware of your being here today. He is the reason we are here . We need to acknowledge Gods goodness in our lives. He has been doing good things in our lives, that is why every time we must say, thank you Jesus!. 1 John 5:1-5. Faith is the cause of victory, without faith you cannot overcome. It is the spiritual armor by which we overcome sin and the world. A man of faith is led by an indwelling spirit of grace within him; he is not satisfied by the world. He can say thank Jesus whereas he still feels pain in his body. He thanks God before he sees. Faith is not feeling, it is in present tense, it believes, acts and receives now, Faith believes the impossible, it receives the incredible. John 11:41 Jesus thanked God for Lazarus while Lazarus was still dead. Jesus was thanking God in anticipation that the best is still yet to come. Have you thanked Him before you asked for the new things you are asking for? Someone wants to be in your position. When you begin to complain, know that you have what somebody else needs. Begin to thank God today. Trace back what God has been doing in your life in the past. Many committed the worst sin but God had mercy on you. There are people who committed the same sin but today they are no more. Before you start asking God for more, you must thank Him before. God has been good to you. When you are facing tough times, faith is there for you. When you don’t know what to do, faith is there for you. Thank You Jesus for lifting me up each time I fall and stumble. Thank You Jesus for forgiving me each time I make mistakes. Once you start thanking Jesus, your murmuring will disappear. The fact that you still have good health in your body, that is a blessing. The fact that you can breathe easily, that is a blessing. Faith focuses on God alone, not on problems. If your focus is on your problems, you are what your problems say you are. But if you are giving your attention to God, you are what God says you are. Stop focusing on your problem, God almighty is greater than that problem. Every time you are facing problems, don’t murmur don’t complain, begin to say thank You Jesus. This simply means, Lord I know that you can still do it again, God almighty is faithful. Many Christians bless God only when things are good in their lives but when things become tough they curse him, but this is not what God wants you to be, he wants you to praise him during hard times, when you do this you are proving your son-ship.
