Faith on Film and Miracles at Oasis this week! We have two great classes continuing this Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Geoff Wright is leading Faith on Film in the Conference Room: We will discuss the representation of Christian faith on film. Our remaining sessions will be organized as follows: 1) salvation by grace, 2) the Church, and 3) the mission of the Church. This series will help us reflect on the season of Epiphany while also anticipating Pentecost. A typical session will involve introducing the topic, screening a sample clip or two from selected films, and then discussing as a group. At the same time, Mrs. Elizabeth Vander Kamp is leading Miracles in the Level III Atrium: Using the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd approach to religious formation, we will look at the miracles of Jesus during the Easter season. When Jesus wanted to tell us about the Kingdom of Heaven, he spoke in parables. When He wanted to show us the Kingdom of Heaven, he performed a miracle. Please join us for either class Wednesday nights through May 14th. All are welcome!
