This image was taken in 1907, this photo accentuates the role of Blacks as Faithful Slaves, loyal to their masters and the Confederate cause even after the Civil War ended. Wow! This picture was taken at the United Confederate Veterans national reunion that was held in Richmond Virginia in 1907. The Black man at center, with his arms on the shoulders of the ex-Confederate soldiers, shares a common surname with them and perhaps accompanied the men to war as a body servant. The question is are we still good faithful, docile, scared slaves today?? Are We still loyal to the Confederacy??
