Fake Indecent Pictures Put On Net via Kuwaittimes The Administration Circle of the Court of Appeals ordered a citizen to pay KD 9,001 in compensation to three Kuwaiti women for damages caused by their co-worker after he fabricated and posted their indecent photos on the social networking site ‘’YouTube’’. The verdict followed KD 2,000 fine the Misdemeanor Court slapped on the plaintiff. Defense lawyer of the three women Faisal Al -Qattan filed a case against the defendant and accused him of intentionally posting fabricated photos of the women in a manner that depicted them of public moral indecency. Lawyer Al -Qattan explained that his clients came to know about those fabricated photos when they were browsing the Internet and visited the website, adding the fabricated photos tarnished their reputation and harmed their honor. According to Article 2/227 of civil law, anyone whose wrong actions inflict harm or damages on other(s) is obliged to compensate the victim, regardless of whether the harm caused was direct or not.
