IDAHO IMMUNIZATION COALITION (IIC) JOB DESCRIPTION: IMMUNIZATION COORDINATOR ASSISTANCE Mission Statement: The Idaho Immunization Coalition is a vital assembly of statewide stakeholders dedicated to promoting health and preventing serious illness through immunization protection of all Idahoans. Fall 2013 Internship: The Idaho Immunization Coalition Reports to: Karen Sharpnack Karen – 208-961-1514 [email protected] Job Summary: Assists in creating and disseminating market/communicationmaterials to help the Idaho Immunization Coalition convey who and what they are to Idahoans. Essential Functions: 1. Create and develop brochures, flyers and newsletter 2. Attend FluMist Clinics in the Boise/Meridian schools 3. Assist with writing an article for the IIC quarterly newsletter 4. Assist in the continued research and development of the web site 5. Assist in the creation and development of a twitter account and face book 6. Assist with the administrative aspects of the Summit Event - September 30, 2013 Job Title: Immunization Coordinator Assistant Desired Start Date: Fall Semester at BSU Approximate Hours: 150 hours throughout the semester Desired Majors: Health Education and Promotion Qualifications: Prefer Senior in college in related areas of Health Education and Promotion. Completion of courses: MKTG 301, Comm. 356, Comm.
