Fall Furnace Event. For those in the high plains of the United States of America I feel it iimportant to issue news of the 2014 Fall Furnace Event. This event happens as the temperatures of summer plunge and the house cools. This is a momentary event that happens when the thermostat is turned back to heat and the fire kicks on, percipitating the burning of summers dust off the coils of the heating unit. There is a scent that fills the house, blowing out through each vent, lasting but for a few seconds. This Event has been known to heal summers misunderstandings, to mend broken marriages, to draw families together in preparation for winters chilling blasts. A fine way to celebrate the Fall Furnace Event is for the head of the household to call together the group, have them stand at a handy furnace vent and breath deeply and quickly. They will sigh and be appreciative for the scent of burning dust from the furnace which will bring them warmth and pleasure all winter long. For those who live alone, this Event can produce security and thankfulness and perhaps fill the empty area of the soul. For those living in the hot climates where it is still warm, have patience, your time will arrive with the cool northern breezes. It is my observation, the Fall Furnace Event happens but once a year, be aware.
