Fall is a super season to shape up your health: 1. Take advantage of the weather: the air is cooler, the leaves are turning color, the beaches are not as busy. Discover a new park and kick a ball around, canoe, hike, play frisbee, pic apples. 2. Take a class. Gyms and schools often start classes in the fall. Try something new and gain some new physical skills. Dance, swim, karate, kickboxing, Jazz. 3. Be an active TV watcher. All the TV shows are starting up and you can be exercising while you watch. Move your treadmill in front of the TV or exercise with lunges, push ups, sit ups through all the commercials. 4. Integrate exercise into your fall schedule. Think about moving more by parking further, or walking on your lunch break, walk around the field at your kids game, make walking dates with friends.
