Fall officially begins next Monday evening at 9:29 p.m CDT but for all practical purposes, fall is already underway. Another cold front will move down into the mid-Mississippi Valley late tonight and tomorrow, sending another push of cool air into the region. After next Friday, the chill will moderate, and much of the country will get to experience a September version of summer warmth...sometimes called Indian Summer. But it wont be hot nor is it expected to last very long.
