False Affidavit filed by Wife of Sri Jagadanand (Mohanty), Odisha State Information Commissioner to take GA Plot in Bhubaneswar in 1992, exposed by me. Dear Friends, The Comptroller & Auditor General of India(CAG) has detected large-scale irregularities in allotment of land and houses by the Orissa government and estimates a scam of about Rs. 4,000 crore. CAG has suggested that the land and houses allotted to various individuals and organisations is in violation of the laws and policies and be cancelled immediately. The CAG has found out that the government has allotted plots and houses to several politicians & senior bureaucrats during the last 20 years. It has stated that there is no policy in exercising the allotments from the discretionary quota. What is worse, it has pointed out, some of the senior politicians & senior bureaucrats have cornered two and three plots and houses filing false affidavits. For example:- Manjushree Patnaik, wife of Sri Jagadananda(Odisha Information Commissioner) has also got one GA plot by filing false affidavit. I have got this information while going through the Property Declaration Statement of Information Commissioner in the website of Odisha Information Cimmission, it was found that:- 1. Information Commission Sri Jagadanand had purchased one Homestead land vide registered sale deed dated 15.2.1989 from Bhabagrahi Jena of Govinda Prasad, Bhubaneswar, the homestead land with an area 2400 square feet is situated in Mouza: Gobinda Prasad, Tahasil: Bhubaneswar, P.S: New Capital, District: Khurda and the Plot number is 1149/2370, Khata No. 1057/2076, one building was constructed on it between 1994-1998(This is a self declaration by Sri Jagadananda in Odisha Information Commission website). 2. His wife Manjushree Patnaik was allotted with a lease hold plot on 23.4.1992 (Draw No. B/372, Plot No. 58) with an area 3746.16 Square feet, Mouza: Ghatikia, Tahasil: Bhubaneswar, District: Khurda under the “Allotment scheme of Residential Plot in New Colonies within Bhubaneswar municipality Area 1989” (This information is a self declaration of Sri Jagadananda in Odisha Information Commission website). As per Odisha Government decision, a person having plot within jurisdiction of Bhubaneswar Municipal area cannot be entitled to get the GA Plot, then how Manjushree Patnaik, wife of Information Commission Sri Jagadananda was allotted plot under allotment scheme of Residential plot in new colonies within Bhubaneswar Municipal area? Either this a blunder of government authority? Or Manjushree Patnaik would have filed a FALSE AFFIDAVIT in the Court by stating “ I nor my husband / dependant children do not own any house / housesite plot within Bhubaneswar Municipality area on lease hold or free hold basis” Hence the above mentioned lease hold plot was auqired by Manjushree Patnaik unlawfully.
