So another child has succumbed to the Oral Polio Vaccine in India. As per experts a child affected by polio due to the vaccine is twice more likely to die from the disease. However this, and the fact that nearly 456,000 children have suffered paralysis in India, and the rate is related to the number of vaccine doses given does not worry the conscience of those promoting the vaccine. Many questions can be raised on this particular case. Why was a child with low immunity given the vaccine despite protocols prohibiting the same? How is this case "rare" if the authorities themselves admit that up to 1600 cases of polio (not officially counted as polio) are probably being caused due to the vaccine every year, as informed by Dr Pushpa Bhargava in 2006? Why is the relationship between the no of vaccine doses given and rates of paralysis seen amongst children not being investigated? The current rate of paralysis in children in India has crossed 60,000 per year! According to a memorandum submitted to the Govt of India by a group of eminent doctors and health officials, a vaccinated child is more than 6.26 times likely to get paralysed than the unvaccinated! Polio was traditionally called Acute Flaccid Paralysis. Why has it been renamed as Non Polio Acute Flaccid Paralysis? What kind of a sick joke is this? If polio has been eradicated in India why is the clamour for introducing the injectible Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV)? Why does the vaccine package insert say that the vaccine has not been tested for its propensity to cause cancer and infertility? Why was the OPV chosen despite the knowledge that this vaccine is notorious for causing paralysis and has been discontinued in developed countries? Heads must roll and people must be united in protest. The next move by the "eradicators" is to eradicate "measles" using the controversial MR or MMR vaccine that is notorious for causing deaths and disabilities. Are children playthings to be sacrificed at the altar of crazy medical policymakers and even crazier philanthropists?
