Fam, On Tuesday afternoon , I received a call that my grandfathers condition had gone from fair to critical, and he was placed in ICU on Tuesday . I was able to talk with his nurse on Wednesday to find out exactly what happened, and she said that he had gotten a urinary tract infection, and with him already being a diabetic, The worst thing that could happen actually happened... The infection got into his bloodstream, and infected his entire body fast, and basically shut down his major organs. They have him sedated to keep him feeling a lot of pain, and a lot of antibiotics to try to clear the infection I spoke with his nurse this morning and she said his condition remains the same critical, but stable. I know that God is a healer and a way-maker, and Hes not going to put or allow anything on us that We cant handle. Everyone who knows God is able, Please say a special prayer for my grandfather Horace Thompson - that God continues to cover and restore his body. Also pray for my grandmother Leora, and my uncle Louis. They just moved in with Uncle Louis in January and the three of them were sooo happy to be together. And they have played an important part in my entire life, and in the lives of so many other family and friends. I struggled with putting this post up, ( wanted to respect their privacy) and didnt want to just hastily put something up without knowing, but I wanted to give an update and ask that everyone lift them up in prayer. My emotions are just scrambled, but I know God is going work it out. Pls keep the entire family in your prayers.
