Families stranded 16.12. 14 Over 120 families in Mazabuka district have been left homeless following heavy rains last night that has razeled down houses. The affected families whose houses have collapsed and submerged in water have lost household goods. Maz fm news crew that visited Ndeke Compound this morning found a trail of destruction caused by the rains with affected families trying to retrieve some of the household properties that have been damaged with the rains. One of the victims who identified herself as Gertrude told Maz fm news that her entire house has collapsed and all the household goods and foodstuffs have been soaked. And Mazabuka district Commissioner Eugene Munyama says that in the interim government has accommodated all the affected families in schools near their areas.
