Family, At the moment I am reading the book of Job. And as I am - TopicsExpress

Family, At the moment I am reading the book of Job. And as I am reading through it, it just amazes me how much a man could complain, instead of praising God. Now understand that everything that could go wrong in Jobs life has, but he just continually puts the blame on God (instead of blessing and praising him). Before he was faced with any hardships though we see Job as this blessed/ Godly man who was just on the right path in not faltering in his walk with God. But then God allows the Devil to basically manipulate-and turn his whole life upside-just to prove to the Devil that Job is a godly man and wont turn away from him through these hardships. Now thinking over this reminds me of the quote: God wouldnt put you through a trial if he thought you couldnt handle/bear it. Now its obvious though that Job was never informed of this, but reading through his hardships and complaining, I think we all wish that he was. The point Im trying to get across though, is that whenever you are going through a hardship, instead of questioning and complaining why God would allow this to happen to you; just praise God and believe that He has a reason behind your struggles. And as I have said to myself many times before, a spiritual struggle/hardship simply gives you the chance to grow closer to God. Have a blessed day!
