Family and friends...I missed your comments and posting I was tied up the last few days, promise will catch with you. I have noticed that we started to drop Christ out of Christmas in our writings for some time now, we are using Xmas… …the ones who are using the abbreviation they justify it by saying… “Xmas” is not a non-religious version of “Christmas”. The “X” is actually indicating the Greek letter “Chi”, which is short for the Greek Xplotoc, meaning “Christ”. So “Xmas” and “Christmas” are equivalent in every way except their lettering. Friends I and millions like me take an exception, to their justification, and that is **a bunch of malarkey** and if you are not familiar the word meaning, it means nonsense, carp, bull, bull crap, lie, idiocy etc etc …and here is why…. X can mean so many things. For example, when we want to denote an unknown quantity, we use the symbol X. It can refer to an obscene level of films, something that is X-rated, and the unknown the x factor….Christ is not unknown, is not an x factor, is not a unknown quantity, Christ is the Savior, born on this Holy Day. It is Christmas my friends, not a holiday, we put up Christmas trees not fall tree, we go shopping for Christmas to share the gift of giving, Santa Clause come once a year to give Christmas gifts, employers give Christmas bonuses not A bonus. So for my Jewish Friends I greet them with Happy Hanukah for my Moslem friends I greet Happy Ramadan, and for the believers of Kwanza I greet them Happy Kwanza….and please greet me with Merry Christmas and to you all….my love to you all. And please please do not forget the needy, the sick and the poor on this Chrismas.
