I woke up Thursday morning with a bit of a sore throat and in quite a bit of pain. Didnt put it down to infection I blamed myself for not taking meds sooner so felt everywhere was inflamed but got on with it and got on top of the pain. I then got ready for my first batch of a new chemo. It went fairly well tbh and the only hiccup I had was one of the batches of chemo I have real problems with. Its painful when going into my veins making my veins spasm. Nurses were brill at shooting star and reduced the amount going into my arm but that meant an extra hour spent there. Wasnt so bad as I fell asleep lol:-) I hate waking up though know youve slobbered and snored lol anyway after chemo I went home and felt well. Even made tea:-) I fell asleep not long after and when I woke I got a chill:-/ I checked my temp 37. You may not think 37 is high but it is for me. Thought great now what.? I got a pint of fluid and drank that and changed my jumper for tshirt. Checked temp again 37.8😕 went in freezer and got some ice to put in my drink. Checked temp again 37.9😢i knew Id have to go into hospital. So got my bag and went through same old routine of info etc. they took me into a side room and eventually was sent for a scan were I had to take my necklace off............ And they have lost it!! 😡👊can you believe that!! I mean how/when!! From literally 5 minutes of taking it off me to standing outside X-ray door to taking me back to my room did its disappear! Dont get me wrong Im certainly not insinuating they stole it. Spoke to a member of a+e and she said I cant help you there coz I dont know who took it off you I said no but I do. I am now like a dog with a bone. Im not letting this go. They tried to get me to sign the disclaimer this morning to say I take full responsibility for my belongings! Lol. I think not. I may be ill and I may well be blonde but believe me when I think someone is trying to pull the wool over my eyes you get one of 👊xxx Im now officially at war with the NHS
