After going through many births one gets human life which is to be utilized to execute devotional service. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu distributed freely the Hare Krishna Mahamantra in every town and village to awaken the love of God. But in the 9th Chapter Krishna said to Arjuna that this knowledge is secret of all secrets. Why? The knowledge about the self and Supreme Self is veiled by maya, hence it is very confidential and not easily revealed to everybody. This knowledge and the realisation can be understood only if the Lord Himself explains it.
