Family seeks help in locating missing Spirit Lake man By Adam Ladwig on Dec 22, 2014 at 7:21 p.m. A family on the Spirit Lake Reservation is hoping for a holiday miracle, the safe return of a loved one who has been missing for a week. Phillip Krulish, 22, hasnt been seen since Dec.16. His mother, Andrea Peltier, says there havent been any answers as to why he disappeared, but shes doing everything she can to bring him home. For Peltier, its a mothers worst nightmare: A knock on the door by police. They came and told me Friday my sons been missing since Tuesday night between four and five in the evening, she said. Phillip Krulish was last seen in Fort Totten, N.D., driving a maroon Chevy Cavalier with tinted windows. He was scheduled to take his final exams at Cankdeska Cikana Community College the next day. He didnt make it to the exam, Peltier said. Peltier says she was never told why it took three days for police to tell her her son was missing. Fort Totten police did not return a message asking for a comment. Since Friday, the family has seen a wealth of support. Relative and tribal council member Clarise Brownshield says search crews are also on the lookout. They did an intense search in this area, Brownshield said. Authorities have been looking throughout Spirit Lake, but Krulishs family has been conducting its own search, going up and down rural roads and checking fields looking for him. Weve been all over Crow Hill, Fort Totten, St. Michaels, Tokio — all the back roads out here Peltier said. Family members said the search will continue until he is found. And if hes out there somewhere they hope he can hear them. Were gonna keep looking, Peltier said. Well find Phillip. Peltier is asking for anyone who wants to help with the seach or with information about Krulishs whereabouts to call her at 701-351-5966. grandforksherald/news/region/3640148-family-seeks-help-locating-missing-spirit-lake-man
