On this October day we are supposed to celebrate National No Beard Day. Upon further research I’ve discovered that there are E-cards you can send to those celebrating it, that no one knows who “discovered” it, or why someone would be anti-beard enough to start a holiday in an effort to get men to shave theirs off. Perhaps those selling razor blades? In any case, to observe this dubious occasion we have a quote from the barbershop shaving scene in 1987’s The Untouchables: “On the boat it’s bootlegging. On Lakeshore Drive it’s hospitality.” – Al Capone.
