Fan Question -- I struggle with knowing when is the right time to switch pitchers. I coach 10U and I make my pitchers, usually work themselves out of bad innings. I feel they have to learn at some point. If the game is on the line I probably switch sooner than later. I dont feel at this age that winning is the most important. My job as a 10U coach is to develope these young ladies for the next level. What are other coaches thoughts on when to pull or a pitcher and when to let her work it out for herself. So far it hasnt bitten me in the neck. But I am sure it will some day.
