Fan Question: I have breastfed two babies and am expecting my third. With both of my babies I woke up in the middle of the night just a few days after being discharged from the hospital shivering and my pj soaked to the bone especially around my chest. I was so cold that I couldnt even get out of bed to get another blanket. I could barely talk to wake my husband up to help me. My teeth were chattering, and I was shivering in wet pjs. I dont know if I had a fever, if I was soaked in sweat or if I was soaked in breast milk. Now that Im going to have my third child Im worried that it will happen again and wondering what it was and if others have experienced this as well. It only happened one night with each baby and only lasted for about an hour but felt horrible waking up that wet and so cold.
