Fan post: Post anonymous: I have a question for other step momma fans with blended families!! I have two SD age 12&13 I have been married to their daddy for 4 yrs and in their life since they were born and we are expecting a baby together I have two questions #1 I am a first time mom and he has been threw this twice is it wrong for me to feel like its just not as special/exciting (referring to not being as excited or nervous as myself) I just feel like we are on different levels when we held my new born niece at the hospital he was telling me how to hold her as if I was doing it wrong(my sister surly would have said if I were), do u think Im over reacting to feel a bit upset like were not on the same level??? Have any of u been in this situation? Question #2 I know Im far from this point but how did u explain a blended family? Step siblings to a young child who does not have divorced parents?? I love my step daughters dearly but I am truly dreading having to tell my baby that daddy had another wife and family before us and babies with another mommy he isint with:( just breaks my heart!! How did u guys deal with this??
