Fan question: Im 24 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby. Im bipolar with bad anxiety. When i found out i was pregnany my psych took me off all meds cold turkey and dismissed me. My obgyn put me on a very mild mood stabilizer and antidepressant and let the anxiety get out of control. Im even having panic attacks in my sleep. I called to see if she would treat it and she calls back telling me she will write me a med she knows i cant take because it causes a relapse of a non cancerous but dangerous brain tumor. I was like i cant take that and actually had to explain why and shes all like oh yeah. Then she calls back and says shes just gonna put me in counseling. Okay so counseling is obviously not gonna fix bipolar. I want to fire her because this untreated is extremely dangerous. Problem is theres only 5 obgyns between this town n the next n none of them can get me in until after due date. What do i do?
