Fantastic news from the AFA track&field team who did very well yesterday at the class 1A Region 3 meet at Calvary Christian in Clearwater. A record number of 8 athletes made it to the next level: State Championships in Jacksonville on May 2. Looks like we will need a bus this time!. Anyway, Brittany McGee was 2x first and 1x second at the 100+300 hurdles &long jump. Tristal Malfe was 1st at the high jump with a new PR. Patrick McNamara ran also a PR in the 3200 and was 3rd; The 4x100 boys: Cortavious Givens, Anthony Evans, Dalton Collins & Napoleon Maxwell were 2nd while Napoleon also got 4th in the 100 dash. Ashaunti Brown was 2 times 2nd in the shot-put as well as the discus. Great job guys! Congratulations!
