Farewell to my best friend - she is just 48 years old, so happy and full of life. She has made significant difference to my life, especially during our years in SMP XI Jakarta. She had her own library; lent me many of her books while my family could not afford them. We shared a lot of joy as we grew together, sharing our adventures, from camping to teaching English to each other... I still remember very clearly that 2 weeks ago, I visited her. She asked me to read surah Ya-Sin aloud. Even when she was ill, she still had the strength to cheer me up in anticipating my surgery. That was my last meeting with her. She passed away at 10.30pm on Saturday, 1 November. May Allah give her the best place in heaven. May her husband and daughter are given the strengths. Amin YRA...
