Farm Story ..WELL OVER DUE!!! So with all thats been going on I havent had time to keep an Eye on Mare and Nate and there antics.... However after last night I am glad I had a break from that..or am I ????? Soooo being it Veterans day and Dad wanting to go out to eat ,we feel its a much needed change and all agree,so were does he want to go? Quaker steak and lube!!! AGAIN ,why ...because they are giving free meals to our Vets and of course the 10% discount on the bill...now Jake and I look it up call and there is no 10% since they are already receiving the meal free.Sounds logical and fair...NOT TO NATE! WHY because he feels that the 10 % would cover the cost of the 3 beers he wants to have...have I mentioned this is during happy hour!Anyway,as we say ok we will go as soon as John gets home,as my hubby arrives he needs to take a shower....now Nate is having a fit,and called him shower boy all night because its almost 6pm and happy hour is over at 7.FINALLY arrive and we bust out laughing because they have a 45-plus hour wait...lol....Dad said lets ride around the lot for awhile and maybe we can find a spot and make it under the 7 pm hour...NOT...so we go across the road to TGIF for burgers ..again we all agree burgers for everyone....ooops Mare didnt get that memo! lol As the girl comes to take order,we all get burgers,mom orders rack of rib with potato and veggie...Dads face dropped as he asked for menu back to check price! YUP you guessed it ...the following comments made me cry of laughter,Jake trying to catch breath...and John just continued to eat! So as the words kept going back and forth...It was a wonderful feeling that all was going back to normal...until the check arrived!!! So Mare struggling with a few older woman whiskers...lol Dad turns and says can you believe how much this cost especially your rack of ribs...he then says Mare you cost to much and I wont pay for your meal because you strayed away from the burger..she of course called him an ass,with no balls to admit he is cheap,and he WILL pay or so help her God she will make his life miserable....His response whats new...and remember the facial hair folks....He says You cant make me pay not by the hair of your chinny chin chin...oh yeah what came after that is censored! good times
