Farmstore hours: Sunday 12p-4p Monday 5p-7p Tuesday 12p-1p Please be patient with us -- there is always a big rush for birds at the opening of farmstore hours. Getting you the bird you reserved is no small feat, and it takes many to make it possible. We still have a handful of birds available, all larger than 14 pounds. (Each bird comes with a neck. And giblets by request.) We also have plenty of other goodies for your holday table: bacon pieces, rendered into fat for cooking veggies and snacks while youre preparing your feast; a whole chicken for your family in the days leading up to the holiday; ground beef and lamb and pork sausages of all kinds; pork chops; smoked ham roasts; lard for all your pie crust, biscuits and cooking oil needs; and on and on. We kept our laying flock over the winter just for you (the birds are no longer paying their feed bill because its time for them to be stew hens). Eggs are in short supply, so limit one dozen per family. Come see us, and thank the dedicated folks with cold hands, many of whom you wont see today because they are warming up after a long haul yesterday. Fresh birds at Thanksgiving is a feat, and we are happy to share this delight with you. In gratitude, Suzanne
