Faroe Islands.......shame on you! 900 cetaceans killed within the last 2 weeks for what? It makes Taiji very tame by comparison. When are we going to stop this barbarism? A complaint has been lodged to the European Commission by the Sea Shepherd, but nobody seems to know who is in charge to deal with such a complaint within the European Commission. Meanwhile, innocent creatures are slaughtered in the most appalling ways and there is nothing marine activists can do about it, apart from being there physically and been accused of being racists or to interfere with traditional way of life! Tradition, a word used and overused by all animal abusers......the Japanese, the Faroese, the French, the Spanish, the Canadians, the Chinese, the Australians and the list goes on..... all hide behind one little word to JUSTIFY their killing spree and the cruelty they inflict on animals. Total rubbish.......it we had kept all the traditions of our forefathers, we would still live in cave, wear very little clothes and be fearful of fire! The planet is evolving and we need to evolve with it. Times are changing and we need to truly show our humane side, which is respect, compassion and for the ones more evolved unconditional love to all creatures. Petitions do not work when it comes to stubborn people who refuse to let go of their bloodthirsty "tradition" (Solomon Islands, Taiji, Faroe Island, Spain, France etc....). What are we left with? Pain and horror to be the silent witnesses of such crime against other non human beings (sentient beings that are as intelligent as us, if not more intelligent). Charles Darwin spoke of a missing link, I have found it......brainless and heartless people, they are the true missing link between barbarism and evolution.
