Fasting on 10th of Muharram: It’s about the optional and non-obligatory fasting of the 10th day of the first Islamic month of the year called Muharram in commemoration of the day Allah saved Musa (Moses) and his followers from their enemy Fir’awn (Pharoah) and his followers. For most countries and cities around the world it will fall on Thursday 14th November 2013. Please note that the date may vary based on the moon sightings in each country. You can fast on 9th,10th and 11th Muharram if you so wish. May Allah accept everyones fasts. Ameen
